"Be Still"
24" x 48" Oil on Canvas
Framed in a light oak canvas floating frame
This piece is oh so special to me. One of my favorite feelings in the world is to sit back in the stillness of the world and watch a storm roll in. There's something about the shift in the air, the quietness that comes, and the soft breeze that rolls in.
I especially love watching storms roll into the mountains. You can see the curtain of rain setting from the sky from miles away and watch it transform over the horizon. There's something so beautiful and so special about that to me. This is one of the first pieces that I've attempted to create to match that feeling. I wanted to embody all the things I found so special about sitting and waiting for the storm to roll in.
Considering everything that is going on in Western NC, I am donating 50% of proceeds on this piece to Beloved Asheville who is in the heart of the community helping people meet various needs after Hurricane Helene.
Pictures will be updated once piece is framed on November 8th
